CUSTODIA
Liquid, passive investment in the public markets, to consolidate and diversify family wealth with a long-term view.
The wealth dimension
Custodia Capital holds the wealth and investment dimension of Custodia Group. Its scope is the public markets: everything that can be bought and sold from an investment account, including listed real estate instruments.
Its nature is liquid and passive. It does not seek to run companies or intervene in their management: it takes part in them as a patient investor, and lets time, discipline, and diversification do their work.
Principles
Custodia Capital is not defined by a strategy, but by the criteria that govern every decision.
- Long horizon
- Decisions are made with years and generations in mind, not quarters.
- Prudence
- Preserve first, then grow. Avoiding a permanent loss matters more than chasing the highest return.
- Diversification
- No single asset, sector, or market should be able to compromise the whole.
- Discipline
- Criteria set in advance and applied consistently, regardless of market noise.
- Liquidity as margin
- Keeping the capacity to decide for when conditions stop being favorable.
- Simplicity
- Invest only in what is understood. Complexity needs a good reason to exist.
Within the system
Custodia Capital is the stable foundation of the family wealth. Custodia Holdings is its engine of building. Neither replaces the other: the liquidity of Capital gives room to the decisions of Holdings, and the growth of Holdings gives meaning to the patience of Capital.
CUSTODIA CAPITAL
